Student’s Work

A group of seven people, casually dressed, gather in an art studio at a Duluth Minnesota art school. With a large arched window casting soft light, some are seated while others stand intently focused on a canvas. Art supplies and sculptures adorn the dimly lit background.

The Ruben’s Project

Stemming from Western art tradition, GLAFA developed “The Ruben’s Project” to give the students experience in imaginative composition. The goal is to make the resulting work look both natural and believable.
