I was thrilled to learn about GLAFA and the opportunity to take night classes due to having a full-time job during the day. I had never received any formal training in art but have always loved the arts and to create. Upon arriving, I was quickly welcomed into the positive and inclusive studio environment. As a learner, the instruction has been insightful and new – challenging my brain in wonderful ways with exciting outcomes. The space created by the instructor and fellow classmates is one I look forward to joining on a weekly basis as a lovely refuge of learning and creative outlet.
